Woodbrook Care is a leading provider of care services to individuals who need assistance to continue living in their home. We are a disability focused business but we also provide care services to the elderly. We have home care assistant opportunities throughout Co. Waterford but in particular, we’re looking for people in Wexford Town, Enniscorthy, Gorey, Bunclody, Rosslare, Ferns, New Ross, Duncormick, Clonroche, Kilmore and surrounding areas.

 

About You

  • You must have attained or be studying towards QQI Level 5 Modules in Care Skills and Caring for the Elderly (or have equivalent or better qualifications).
  • You must have a positive attitude and enjoy helping vulnerable people.
  • A full driver’s licence and your own car is required (unless you live in a large town and use a scooter/bike and are looking for limited hours).

Benefits Include:

  • Market leading hourly rates with premium rates paid on Sundays/Bank Holidays and for covers
    • Up to €13.50 per hour basic
    • Up to €16.87 per hour on Sundays
    • Up to €20.25 per hour for covers
    • Up to €27.00 per hour on bank holidays
  • Paid in-house training in skills such as behavioural support and palliative care
  • Uncapped mileage of up to €0.25 per km between client visits
  • Ongoing support from our nurses, experienced carers and our emergency person-on-call
