Woodbrook Care is a leading provider of home care services in County Wexford and our ethos is that if we look after you, our care staff, you’ll deliver a better service to our clients.
In addition to ensuring you get your statutory entitlements and you’re fairly paid for both travel time (time spent in the car) and mileage (KMs travelled) between client homes, we aim to:

We have opportunities throughout County Wexford but we have a particular need in the Wexford Town, Gorey, Enniscorthy and New Ross areas.
About You
  • You must have attained or be studying towards QQI Level 5 Modules in Care Skills/Support and Caring for the Elderly (or have equivalent or better qualification) OR have at least 1 year’s paid experience delivering personal care in a health care setting (e.g. a nursing home or another home care agency).
  • Availability to work every second weekend is an advantage but not a requirement
  • You must have a positive attitude and enjoy helping vulnerable people.
  • You must have a full driver’s licence and your own transport.
Market Leading Rates:
Market leading hourly rates starting from*:
  • €13.25 per hour Mon – Sat (or €20.25 per hour if you do two 30-minute calls back to back)
  • €16.87 premium rates paid on Sundays
  • €16.87 for emergency covers and when working with specific more challenging clients
  • €27.00 paid on Bank Holidays
Note: The above rates are our minimum rates for carers meeting the minimum qualification and/or paid experience requirements with higher rates payable based on qualifications achieved and experience gained.
